Whenever we process parameters, we will use the default value provided by Swagger. Or so we thought. It seems for objects, we do not attempt to set the default values for properties that have a default value. This was originally reported here: apigee-127/swagger-tools#421

Is there any plan to fix this @whitlockjc? This is quite annoying. Can we help?

I'm working on it but I'm also a one-person team so when I'm busy, there's not a lot of progress. I apologize for the delay.
