Command line not working

So, I did thoroughly try to search looking for a solution and can't find it mentioned anywhere so I think it's a bug in the latest version. For some reason whenever I try to use either drag and drop or command line in the newest version, it opens Fullscreen but comes to just a green screen and does not go past it. I do hear the music playing in the background. Strangely, everything works perfectly fine and normal if the game is loaded the normal way in a window. (just an fyi, tried to provide a screenshot but it doesn't let me, think it's because of the exclusive Fullscreen).
