Currently, there is no way to update the build image when carrying out a build. This means that updating the build tooling is a matter of changing the docker image that it is using, and then rebuilding. It's very tedious. I can see this being advantageous when docker images are well-defined and not subject to much change, but it does make development of this package harder.
