Ally X + Bazzite, stops detecting controller input

Can launch and play just fine, but after a seemingly random period of time the game will just stop detecting controller inputs. Touching the screen only makes my character attack. I still can see shortcut keys for LB, D pad buttons, etc but I just can't interact with the game on controller whatsoever. Game hasn't crashed or anything.
