Recovering from corrupted table

No clue what's happened here but it seems I have an issue:

What's the best way to recover from this? Delete everything and start over? I'm running in Docker.

I think for this you might need to have look if mariaDB has a way to repair the table. If not you need to start over I'm afraid.

I wiped my DB volume and started again a couple of days ago but I've just checked on things and it's happened again!

Web page is giving me this:
SQLSTATE[HY000]: General error: 1877 Table speedtest_tracker.sessions is corrupted. Please drop the table and recreate. (Connection: mysql, SQL: select * from sessions where id = C2e8N5301HOw4WW41LzedIHoUmitRO7Rj2VWrNre limit 1)

And the logs have:

Let's do a couple of things and see if this helps...

1. Drop sessions table from your database.
2. Find the record 2022_10_21_104903_create_settings_table in the migrations table and remove it.
3. In your environment variables change your DB_CONNECTION variable to mariadb instead of mysql, Laravel now provides a dedicated driver for it.
4. Restart your container, during boot it'll know the sessions table is missing and migrate it again.

@svenvg93 i know your making doc updates, can you add mariadb as a config option for DB_CONNECTION?

I just deleted the db and started again. I'm wondering if I should switch DBs instead at this point.

You could try MySQL or Postgres, Postgres is generally more performant
