Mindful is Open Source again

Dear Community,

I am excited to announce that Mindful is once again open source! After much reflection and discussion, I have decided to revert to the original vision of open-source collaboration. I deeply regret the decision to close the source in the past, and I understand that it may have caused disappointment and confusion for many of you.

This decision was not made lightly. I took the time to engage with supporters, listen to the feedback of dedicated users, and consult with experienced community members. The overwhelming consensus was clear - openness and community collaboration are what make Mindful truly special.

I am sorry for any frustration my earlier choice may have caused. With the support of the community, I believe that returning to open-source is the best path forward, ensuring that Mindful remains a tool that grows and evolves with all of you.

Thank you for your patience, your understanding, and for continuing to support us. I am excited for the future, and I can’t wait to see the amazing contributions from everyone as we move forward together.

Great that it is open again. I am unable to find anything about the original reason why you closed it. Would you mind still explaining why that happened?

The repo traffics shows daily clones but no contribution till now. So it seems people using GPL2 code for their profit or without crediting and making it open. But i can't do anything about it. Just went closed source for a week and lost all previous stars😔. But now i don't care i just want to make sure that people should have a choice or option to all that data mining apps which claims to be best wellbeing app.
