I'm curious if we should add this as ORFS test case. Could you give stats about the design size? What flow did you use for physical implementation and could you share the configuration? Thanks!

Hey @maliberty , the design is 1050 x 1050 um large and takes ~ 3m on my laptop. I checked in all source files and logs/reports to the tape-out repository: https://github.com/IHP-GmbH/TO_Nov2024/tree/main/i2c-gpio-expander/design_data

I can open a pull-request with this design in ORFS. I actually found a bug in the latest version of openroad is probably easier to debug that way too.
