@snhirsch I strongly suspect this is something that cannot be fixed in firmware. I think you'd have much better chance of finding a workaround on a Macintosh-specific online forum, of which there are plenty. My take is that this is an OS-level problem, and you're going to need to find an OS-level workaround. |

Volumes denoted as "reconnect next time" are supposed to be automatically available on the desktop on reboot. That works fine with my physical ethernet adapter or localtalk connection, but not when using the DaynaPORT SCSI device. I'm wondering if this might be a startup dependency issue? Is it possible the network device is not available during the phase where Appletalk is normally initialized? Once manually connected things are fine, but it would more convenient if they persisted as startup items.
