From Jed Hartman:

2. A feature for tracking what gets downloaded?

I would love to be able to get a more granular view of what parts of the Packet get downloaded and when. DigitalOcean presumably still can’t tell us that; last year, it just gave us the total amount of data downloaded each day. I was thinking something like this might be a viable approach:

In the page that lists the download links, track the number of times each link is clicked (but not, of course, who clicked it). Then put the number of clicks for each link on some kind of dashboard (or make it retrievable from a web endpoint or something).

What do you think—would that be a feasible and reasonable feature for someone to add?

(If we’re already using some kind of analytics, that might give us this info already, not sure.)
