Gearswap Issue - JA Seigan Not triggering equip events

Trying to debug an issue a friend of mine is having. In his Lua he is trying to setup a SAM Seigan counter set using //gs showswaps and //gs debugmode. On my character I see the Seigan spell trigger gearswap events but on his character they are not triggering.

He's running the same version of Windower, and same version of Gearswap.

Any ideas on why the same LUA is having different results? Any fixes for this?

generally problems like this are just because you don't have the file loaded that you think you do.

So I don't think he's using the wrong LUA, I can try altering his current LUA with a message that says if he uses an ability just see if he's using the same LUA as I am.
