miniforge prompt: conda init bash
get gitbash (choose nano as default editor? as "code" may not exist)
get VS Code
add extensions: ssh/remotes + gitlens + python
try to add "code" shortcut
note: disable autosave!

create github account
simplified ssh key creation
Add key to github

check ssh key
check base env
check git version
check python version
check curl or wget available

Create workshop dir in ~/gitworkshop/
