Describe the bug

I'm struggling to get VDD working. I used to use the old IDD driver and it worked fine, but ever since installing VDD this morning to try enabling HDR streaming to my TV, I've had a problem where the virtual monitor does not show in Windows. I tried uninstalling all old virtual display drivers and dummy monitors (including hidden devices) in Device Manager, uninstalling and reinstalling VDD and Googling as much as I can to no avail. When looking at Windows settings under Display, I see a greyed out monitor where the virtual display should be, but I can't get it enabled. I tried changing the drop down from "Disconnect this display" to "Extend Desktop to this Display," but it automatically resets itself to disconnected.

When I check Generic Monitor (VDD Display) in device manager, I see an error that says "Device settings for DISPLAY\MTT1337\1&28a6823a&6&UID256 were not migrated from previous OS installation due to partial or ambiguous device match."

Could this be part of the issue?
