The benchmark seems to be excessively slow on my Windows workstation:
Benchmark took 140012ms (700ms per iteration in average).
This is a regression to previous benchmarks using WSL2 on Windows (<100ms on average), and my Linux laptop (<150ms on average) confirms that even with a weaker CPU the benchmark is faster.
TODO: Investigate whether this is caused by msys2 or some GHC bug and if it is fixable. Maybe the repeated reading on many files is slowed by NTFS?
