apple.com is failing on some clients still.

Not an engine problem, but I'm not closing this yet because I suspect that the application using the engine is somehow causing a block action without setting a response payload. That is a valid use of the engine API, I just need to 100% eliminate anything on the engine side as being responsible before closing this ticket.
