Infinite geyser levitation

Geysers can infinitely push you up into the sky past its limit, One of the ways I found to recreate it was going afk on top of the geyser.

I'm unsure why this was a closed issue, but I came here looking to find a solution to this exact issue. Thankfully I did find out that through commands if you give yourself levitation it will overwrite the infinite geyser levitation.

I really thought I had fixed it, as I took every measure possible to make it stop after reaching a certain height.
The problem is: I can't reproduce it, no matter what I try. I'm not sure if it's an incompatibility with another mod, and I really don't know why the code to prevent this is not working.
Does this issue also occur on the 1.19.4 version?

Hello, I was just playing on my survival world when I looked away from my monitor for like a second and then I looked back to see myself just floating up. This caused me a great deal of confusion and amusement, and, thankfully, I was able to clip it.
MC version is quilt 1.20.1, mod version is 1.7.1.

Oh and the best thing is: I looked away at my second monitor to watch a video about an aviation accident.

This bug still persists in 1.21 and has happened to me twice :D it seems to me that if the game freezes for even a second when entering a geysir, the levitation will persist indefinitely.
