how do I pass wildcard value when using useNavigate hook in v1?

Given this route.

export const filesRoute = new Route({
  getParentRoute: () => filesRootRoute,
  path: '*',
  component: lazyRouteComponent(() => import('./filesPage'), 'FilesPage'),
  validateSearch: (search) => search as { current?: string },
});

In 0.0.1-beta.151 the following works.

navigate({ to: filesRoute.id, params: { '*': path } });

But in 1.0.6 it fails with error as * is not allowed in params.

I would want to navigate to /files/some/path/which/is/dynamic.

I just tried it in v1.1.3 and don't get an error. Can you provide a minimal reproducer?
