As for online editions one simple <bibl> should surely be enough, for printed editions allowing <listBibl> and <biblStruct> may be useful.

results of discussion at SIG meeting at Tokyo:

<listBibl>

the addition of <listBibl> would not add much value to the desired exchange because in most output formats of the correspSearch web service it will probably be stripped out. Additionally, the grouping of several <bibl> might be a feature when outputting an aggregated list but then the question would be which grouping mechanism to apply: by publisher? by bibliographic type? by online/print?

<biblStruct>

this is just sooo horribly hard to process …

conclusion

do what you need in proper TEI but keep CMIF plain and easy :)
