New to scripting... is there a way to show colour labels next to all visible stars within the FOV?

Hi everyone, new here, always loved Stellarium and trying to get a bit more into the scripting side of things... so, is it possible to show colour labels next to all visible stars on the screen? And then take a screenshot also (that includes said labels)? Thank you, Kevin

That's what I was hoping I could work with but as you can see it doesn't show colour information:

I understand @kevinpatey wants each star labeled with an individual color (or maybe in colored groups, but not the default star color). IMHO this is not supported out of the box.

That's right... I can't find any mention of it in documentation. Now, each star, even unnamed stars has colour information, but I need a way to put a label next to each star. So I need to access that colour data point and the stars AzAlt location and add a text label just to the side of each star... Looking through other discussions I saw that you can customise the colour of stars based on their B-V value, so I COULD just grade the star colour into ranges so that stars would either be deep blue, light blue, light orange, deep orange and red and then this MIGHT show up on my black and white printer printouts. Is there any other way to customise star appearance? Maybe each star could be REPLACED with a label of magnitude and colour like -1,-0.05. The intention is to print out sections of sky and then accurately paint them on something including size magnitude and colour. Colour range is acceptable rather than exact colour as mixing paint for individual stars would turn this from a 1 year project into about 100 years. I also have to set a magnitude limit somehow so it doesn't turn into a 2000 year project :D

I just noticed in my screenshot that screenshots don't include name labels for HIP stars without names...
