As far as I can tell, the speeds are interpolated in between the defined steps. However, it also seems that any overhang percentage below 25% is simply ignored and printed full speed. The value really only comes into play for interpolating speeds between 25%-50%. It seems to change the interpolated speed for overhangs in that range, but still does not apply at all to overhangs below 25%. The label says this speed should apply for overhangs between 10%-25%, which simply does not happen. Either this is a bug in the slicer, or the label needs to be updated to reflect the actual behavior. Unless I have misinterpreted what I'm seeing, in which case, feel free to correct me! |

I'm designing a part to calibrate my overhang speeds. Specifically, the 4 sections under "Slow down for overhangs".
In CAD, I'm calculating overhang angles based on the information from Bambu Lab here. Then, I am designing a part with overhangs based on those angles.
But when I slice the resulting part, there is no slow down at all on the outer wall.
Am I doing something wrong in designing/slicing? Or is this a bug in the slicer?
