Automatically follow vessel

How can i automatically follow the vessel when the map opens (and keep it in center)?

By somebody implementing this feature ;-)

The feature needs to togglable, so that you can also pan & zoom the map independently and then switch also back to autofollow mode.

The freeboard-sk project has a follow vessel feature, also North up/Vessel up capability, both toggleable.
