The watched status back to watched after scan, when user set unwatched manually.

This behavior is not dependent on the set or unset "follow user settings watched/unwatched" option.

Can you please specify your Kodi version and provide a log file with debug settings?

Facing the same problem:
got an old series again in the library which is correctly marked as all seen by the plug-in.
But after marking everything as unwatched, the watched-status will be back after the next plug-in scan. Or is this maybe intended?
