This would be a nice feature on the user page or homepage. Think these would be slightly different as you only see the first 20 posts on the homepage. On user pages, you have all user posts with one request and can do most sorting on the client.
The search page would benefit greatly from filtering or sorting, but that should be a dedicated issue I'd imagine.
