Current: When media is attached to a workflow step, it is only displayed in the edit form

Expected: Media attached to workflow steps should display with a smaller thumbnail

Suggestion: Change workflow steps to show attached media

By design, for the front-end but also in our editorial guidelines (recommended metadata), only 5 fields are shown/required-recommended(!) for the workflow steps: label, description, keywords, activity and related items.
Adding more fields in the front-end would require - in my opinion - substantial rework of the workflow detail view screen and of the way steps are displayed when a user expand them.

The approach chosen so far is to reduce the number of fields available in the edit form for steps, rather than adding fields in the detail view.

This issue should be included in a wider rethinking of the way workflows are displayed.
