- a High Speed Camera from Casio (Sony sensor) capable of capturing 1200 fps
This camera was unusable after falling down hard. It started but shut down a few seconds later (after optic test). A thin lens mount plastic broke inside the optic and was blocking the zoom lens to reach end points. After removing + fixing this it worked normally as before.
- no need to do this for disassembly
- It is necessary to get into the zoom optic.
- The ring is just glued on top of the screws.
- Turning the cam upside down (+ sometimes shaking a bit) made it possible starting (passing optics test) with the damaged optic.
- Remember every screw position exactly! There are many kinds and sizes of screws on this camera.
- Keep the sensor and lenses clean. Wear gloves!
