Unable to connect Everything Presence Lite (can't find the device) #13
Comments
Hi, I also am having a similar issue with one of the ESP Lite sensors I purchased. I purchased 4 x Lite and 1 x One sensor and all but one were found easily and set up no problem. I have tried flashing the Firmware multiple times just in case, and I can confirm the sensor can connect to my Wifi network when powered as I see its MAC address on my network, but the Homey app does not detect it. I have tried over a dozen times. Any ideas how I may resolve this? Is there any way to manually enter the MAC address? |
Hello. Same issue here. I have flashed the firmware and connected to wifi (both Smarthings and homeassistant versions), I see the MAC and IP on my network (can go to the web interface on the smartthings firmware only) so I know it is connected and working, but when using the EverythingSmart app in Homey, when searching for the EP1 device is does not find. It is almost instant the failure to find the unit... I am on the same wifi network as well. Thank you. Looking forward to it working! Also, the EP1 is the latest version with the SEN0609 sensor, it is the completed, prebuilt kit. Firmware is: 1.2.6. I actually have two of these units and both are experiencing this issue. |
Same issue here, the device has been linked since I started using it (for about a week) then switched from internet provider (kept the same wifi because I am using my own access points) and then the device was not found anymore. Deleted the device in my homey and tried to connect again, then a message no new devices found. tried to flash it again, setup wifi again but still the message no new devices found. Also deleted and reinstalled the app on my Homey and restarted everything but without succes. Is it possible that Homey saved the MAC address so he does not see it as a new device or something? Hope someone can help with this issue. |
I have the exact same experience as @oldowl2 using the Lite with Homey. Flashed firmware, connected to Wifi, can see the device on my network. Not discovered in the Homey app when going to add device. |
I'm trying to add "Everything Presence Lite", but the app does not find any device.
I added the sensor to Home Assistant first, and the firmware is up to date.
I want to use the bluetooth proxy for Home Assistant, and the presence sensor part for Homey (that's why I want the device added to both systems).
Homey is connected to the same vLAN as the sensor, through ethernet. I have tried adding the device from my Android phone and from browser/web.
