@joewheaton @wally-mac
Recently @Albonicomt and I have been running various watersheds through the RCAT toolbox and have discovered that there is a major bottleneck with the time that it takes to run the full network valley bottom through the flood plain connectivity step. This is a necessary input for RCA. The approximate time that it takes is around 2-3 days and some taking a week for a HUC8 depending obviously on the extent of the network and roads. Anyway thought you two ought to know for future work. Also @Albonicomt I do not remember the approximate time that it took to run it with a valley bottom that was just created from a perennial network could you shed some light on this. From what I remember it would take about a day to a day and a half.

@DylanBaum and @tyler1218hatch see issue above. We may run into this with our new runs of RCA. Let me know if we do and then we'll need to figure out a fix.

@philipbaileynar just making you aware of old conversations in isolation... Much of this is now moot thanks to your efforts in making production-grade.

Actually @joewheaton some of the bigger HUC8s take more than a day to run through the new VBET too.
