I use Hotkey Mode "Enter". It would be cool if the shortcuts would work in edit mode too.
So when i press mod+enter while editing a node, it should create a sibling node.
When pressing tab, is see several possibilities:
normal indent (default currently)
create a child node always
create a child node, except when editing a list then indent
I would be fine with either of these, since I can set an individual hotkey for the command for myself in the obsidian settings (eg. alt+tab on mac or ctrl+arrow on windows or linux)
Unfortunately currently, if I try to assign mod+enter to the create sibling command, it does not do anything.

When Hotkey Mode is "Space", one could consider creating a new sibling node on enter and creating new lines with shift+enter. This is just an idea and does not affect me, since i use "Enter" Mode
