🤔 Current Behavior

I have reversed arms in the 'VR Settings -> Controls' menu, as I am left-handed.
(And I have performed the restart of the game that is needed for the buttons to be switched between left and right controller.)

But some of the actions that are done by the "A" button in right-handed mode are missing on their mirror to the "X" button when playing in left-handed mode.

functionality that is missing on "X" in left-handed mode:

press "X" to jump
press "X" to place an item in a menu box (inventory slots, hotkey slots)
press "X" to only put down 1x unit of an item in the crafting-menu-boxes when holding a stack of an item

✅ Expected Behavior

Being able to do anything in left-handed mode that can be done in right-handed mode, only mirrored on the other controller.

🥽 Headset Details

Meta Quest 3, Firmware V69

ℹ️ Anything else?

If there is a way to manually re-map the buttons to get them working as intended, please let me know, so I can do it myself instead of waiting until it gets hopefully patched.
Thank you for this amazing software, and for having the ability to switch to a left-handed mode at all!!

You can manually rebind in the Vivecraft controls in the root of the instance's folder. They are in a non GUI format (text only) so it may be difficult.

I think we are planning on fixing left handed mode as there are controller issues (like this) with our current binds, but we have other bigger fish to fry, so we haven't fixed it yet.

If you do make your own binds, let us know because that would save some time for the developers.

(Controls are vive defaults and oculus defaults for further information.

Thank you!

My plan:
I will put the game into regular/right-handed mode.
I will connect my Quest 3 to my pc, browse the files of the installation and look for the control bindings file.
I will copy over the file to my pc.

I will set QuestCraft to left-handed mode and
copy that controls file over to my pc.

I will open the two files on my PC in an text-editor side-by-side,
try to identify the differences that I have to copy-over / edit in the left handed version.
I will connect my Quest 3 again and overwrite the existing controls file with the modified left-handed version I created on my pc.

Sounds like a plan.
