I would propose to release a 1.3.2 version which is a hotfix to restrict the version of Numpy to being less than 2.0. This has been integrated into the current requirements.txt file. This version would integrate that change only on top of 1.3.1 and not include any other PRs done since the 1.3.1 release.

@Nic-Ma and I briefly chatted and patching that solely in 1.3.2 seems a good solution.

Hi @MattTheCuber, Yes, at this time we are awaiting the update from the third party to provide support for NumPy 2.0.
