Can we assume that the second part of a file name (for example, tlg023 in tlg0031.tlg023.perseus-grc2.xml) always identifies the same work of an author? How to signal a different edition of the same work in the file name? (@AlisonBabeu , @mgbilby)

hi @gcelano I think in general, we've been doing different editions only at the final level, like perseus-grc2, opp-grc2, but the second part has always been for the work level of a textgroup I believe. A more detailed discussion of how to accommodate texts from @mgbilby are here: scaife-viewer/scaife-viewer#634

Hi @gcelano grc1, grc2, grc3 would be different editions. So tlg0012.tlg001 is the Iliad, and perseus-grc2 is an edition of the Iliad.
Avoiding duplication at this level has to be managed by the working group.
