Hi Patrick,

I have 2 AC300s sitting in the garden house (LAN/WIFI ready) while my HA raspi is in the house's cellar. Which hardware setup do I need to get the BT signal into HA?

Depends on which HW you are running HA.
I was using rPI default BL module and found such setup not stable.
Now I'm using oDroid board + Bluetooth dongle with CSR8510A10 SOC (Orico 403)
You may check list of available Bluetooth modules on the HA Bluetooth page. You may need a dongle with external antenna to have better coverage and connectivity between HA and Bluetti devices.

So I need to be in BT reach with my HA server.
Won't work here, as they are too far away. I'll have to look at Bluetti_ESP32_Bridge
, I think.

You can also use an ESPHome BT Proxy for this integration. Might be cheaper
