Funding of open source projects is a big topic. We could provide information and help how to do that, especially in the OpenRail context. Our assumption is that this is a separate dimension from the technical and open source quality, and that the criteria we check in the incubation process don't need to explicitly address funding, as sustainable funding will indirectly show in the quality criteria we apply, such as a healthy contributor base. It still could be useful to cover this aspect in some way. But we decided to not explicitly address it in the incubation process.
