They only work in public repos, but as long as we document this we should automatically select these runners for aarch64 jobs: https://github.blog/changelog/2025-01-16-linux-arm64-hosted-runners-now-available-for-free-in-public-repositories-public-preview/

Oh wait I didn't see you specifically said publish jobs. What about regular CI?

The publish jobs auto select based on architecture in the build name. How would we auto select for CI jobs?

Are you saying that it would Just Work ™ if I put runs-on: ubuntu-24.04-arm on the workflow?
