I have the same question. I recently made a pull request with a change to the gui.py with added drop-down for changing environment map for relighting on-the-fly. You can check that out. I noticed that when changing environment map, the local lights were NOT changing. I don't know whether this is the desired behavior or an error resulting from my modification. Any input from the authors would be highly appreciated.
