Is there some documentation about setting up the SD card for TeensyROM? #2
-
Hi, I have been reading the docs here, but it seems like there has been some assumptions / omission about setting up an SD card for the cartridge. I know that might seem very noob, but I think it is needed. What files to add? A recommended starter collection etc. Unlike Raspberry Pi, this does not use a SD image I gather. |

I understand that TeensyROM FLASH is preloaded with software and tools, 70 programs. When I start mine up I just see this: |

Hello! I'm Travis/Sensorium, the TeensyROM designer. This Git is for the TeensyROM-UI (designed by @MetalHexx ) which is a Windows app for remote controlling your TR/C64. The TeensyROM Git is located here: https://github.com/SensoriumEmbedded/TeensyROM/ There's also a TR Discord link in there which is a great place for questions like yours. https://discord.gg/ubSAb74S5U
Hope this helps and Hope to see you on the TR Discord. :) |

Hi @goose2000. @SensoriumEmbedded answered the question well. His repository is rich in documentation to help you out. In addition, when you run the desktop UI application for the first time, a step-by-step wizard will guide you through a process of getting started. During that wizard, it will recommend you copy the files for the HVSC as well as OneLoad64 to your SD or USB storage device. Additionally, there is a help view in the app with links to those resources and others. Hope this helps! |

Glad you got your faulty machine sorted and are enjoying your TeensyROM.
No SD card is necessary to enjoy the built-in programs, but yes, I can put together a recommendations list for what you could put on it. There are two main collections recommended:
