Right now, an academy´s faculty skill is shown as a target number for a 2d6 roll, even though said 2d6 roll only existed in the very early stages of the education module. Faculty skill influences two things: The admission roll, and the bonus XP gained from classes.
I propose that the information displayed when picking a class to attend at an academy is modified by replacing the information on faculty skill with information on the base number of bonus XP gained.
IIRC bonus XP earned also depend on course length, so I am not sure how MHQ would calculate bonus XP for classes that run until the attendee´s 3rd/10th/16th birthday, especially considering travel time (a character who is 1,000 days from their 16th birthday, enrolling in an academy 50 days away, would attend for 950 days, not 1,000 days); maybe for those types of academies, bonus XP could be given as "X per month of attendance"?
Use Cases or Rationale
The faculty skill stat, as shown, is obsolete, which predicting bonus XP earned currently requires a bit of unnecessary mental math.
