Currently, only correct tech type can do maintenance.
Might want to include an option to turn this off or the Assign Tech Command could get very messy.

From page 169 SO...
A battered veteran of the Succession Wars, a CLNT-2-3T
Clint has a Tech Rating of D (+1) and a Quality Rating of B
(+2). The Regular vehicle Technical Team (TN 7+, but working
outside their specialty) has been forced to perform maintenance
in the fi eld (+2), requiring a Maintenance Check against
a modifi ed Target Number of 12 [7 (Regular Skill Rating) + 1
(Tech Rating D) + 2 (Quality Rating B) + 2 (fi eld repair) = 12].
Rolling 3D6 and discarding the highest-value die, Jane gets
a result of 7.

I don't see anything in CamOps about using alternate tech types for either maintanance or repair.

We currently (nightly for sure, 0.50.0 I think, maybe even milestone?) seem to have the ability to use alternate tech types but no penalty is shown in the calculation.
