With a game set to 'unofficial' tech level, I can't order Lamellor Ferro-Carbide armor from the warehouse or the repair bay. The repair bay says 'unable to purchase parts of this tech level', while the item doesn't appear for sale in the warehouse.

I don't have any units using other types of capital armor to check against in the repair bay.

I am able to use GM mode to add the required armor from the repair bay.

Need a campaign file. Are you using AtB? What game year is it?

This looks like a case of missing equipment from MM. There is references to this armor type but I don't see anything that shows that it is a part type. @arlith will need to look this over to make sure. Most likely this is a MM issue rather than a HQ issue. @HammerGS may also be able to tell if it is an actual part in MM.

If that's true it wouldn't hurt to check the other capital armor types as well.

Something to keep in with DS/JS/WS they are playable in MegaMek, but almost all their sub-systems aren't coded to detail of say mechs. These where always Taharga things (starting from MegaAero) and have had little or no support over the years.

That said it appears the armor is missing from MiscType but is referenced in EquipmentType. When I get through IO I'll add it.

Between IO and the work on large craft that went with dropship/small craft construction in MML, it is now possible to purchase capital armor in MHQ. But it lists as points as if it's mech/tank/asf armor, whereas it should list by tons since the number of points/ton varies with the size of ship. The same is true of aerospace armor used by dropships and small craft.

It is. I did some extra work on it with my large craft parts PR. Hammer's 10/4/16 comment has been resolved by that work. Capital armor still isn't quite right per RAW due to that points-instead-of-tonnage issue, but it is perfectly usable. Repairs do now properly add/remove 10x the number of points in the warehouse for JS/SS/WS to handle the capital-scale conversion properly, so there's that.

Looks like it's approprately eating 10 points per point repaired, but I think it's only using 15 mintues for the repair. It's also not displaying properly in the repair interface, since I didn't know capital armor existed when I was working on the UI code for parts recently. I'll see about fixing that later.
