License question

I submitted this app to F-droid FOSS repository a couple of months ago , but about 2 weeks later it had to be pulled because of the license. If the Non-Commercial clause is taken out it would be allowed back in the repository.

Hi,

I don't intend to remove the non-commercial clause because quite a few companies already intended to use the app for their commercial gain which I don't want to happen. The source is mainly published to give users an insight into the code. Also I'd like to keep the app mainly in the Google Play Store because I can only give support for installations made through the Play Store because of the reporting and statistics feedback. Please respect my decision and sorry that it can't be hosted by F-droid.

that is sad, cause eg, i dont have an google account and so i have to search for this github site. but i understand your decision, and for me its not a big deal to get it this way ;)

but i also dont understand why it is fdroid not allowed to distribute such sort of license. cause i thought this should be non-commercial ...
