Lag time from launching a new Chrome window to serving of image is ca. 5 secs on my desktop with fast wifi - at set-up or post-set-up can cartopop provide configuration choices so user can specify the size (and therefore likely speeed) of image display? #3

Hi Jack. I will do this tomorrow once I figure out how to record a screencast - the difference in launch time between the Bobby Sudekum Mapbox version of Maptab and the Rumsey version of MapTab is considerable, and means on my desktop (which has a fast processor and good memory) that I have to really want to see the Rumsey maps to bother. I have currently switched over to Sudekum's Mapbox version.
