Hi

I think it is better to merge this with the upstream project (materialize) to keep things all in one place. Has been there any consideration for not doing so till now?

Ok! I thought you didn't want to send PR. May you share your PR? I (or someone else) might find the reason they rejected and maybe we can find some solution
