Show Slide Preview hangs Obsidian UI requiring Force Reload

Obsidian UI hangs for all windows when the Show Slide Preview option is taken on any Obsidian note.

Samples to Reproduce
Steps & Examples to reproduce the behavior:
Obsidian 1.5.12
Advanced Slides 1.20.0
MacOS Sonoma 14.1.1
Turning off all other plugins

1. Select the Show Slide Preview icon (or select it) from a simple demo slide note
2. The entire Obsidian user interface for all open windows goes blank and inaccessible (see screenshot).

Expected behavior
A clear and concise description of what you expected to happen.

1. The preview is displayed in a new tab or split window based on the settings.
