The Compendium Browser does not appear to search through the contents of compendiums provided by modules.

I have Tome of Beasts, Tome of Beasts III and Creature Codex premium modules, and a manually installed Conflux Creatures module, but the associated compendiums are not included in Compendium Browser searches.

The compendiums are checked in the "NPC Compendium Settings".

By importing the content of these compendiums as actors, and moving them to a new compendium, they are properly searched.

Edited to reflect that all module provided compendiums are affected, not just premium modules.
