After fixing the FW (see earlier message) I have connected a speaker to the AudioOut of the EAGLEflarm but I could get any "noise" or "beep" ...
I have turned up the volume to the full extend in the config - no change.
In the flarm config file I have tried to set "audioout" to 1 (enabled) - this only generates an error message.
So I assume the audio out is controlled by the ESP32.
So, my takeaway is that there is no way of testing the audio installation while on the ground.
For future FW updates I would propose to have the EAGLEfarm play a beep or a short melody when it is being turned on -> this would provide the user with the confirmation that the FLARM and Audio installation is working.
One more info/observation -
I have tested the FW upgrade functionality using the webinterface and the files you have sent me earlier (rev xxx.295).
It did not work (still the current version xxx.318 is working) - so I assume the system does not support a "downgrade" - meaning loading an older revision of the FW than currently installed.
