.cbz file with .jpg pictures instead of .webp

I found out that i could save the mangas as .cbz files, which is great, because i wanted to use it on my kobo ereader. Unfortunately i can't open the file but other .cbz files were possible to open. So i renamed the cbz file to zip and had a look. The cbz from Kotatsu has .webp as picture format and the other cbz which was readable on my Kobo had .jpg pictures. Is it possible to have feature, which when saving the cbz in Kotatsu, gives me an option to have webp OR jpg pictures in the cbz file?

It depends on the manga source. Images saved in the source format as is without conversion
