Hello, Zigbee2MQTT Community!
I am trying to set up in-network automation where a Zigbee door contact sensor directly locks a Zigbee smart lock when the door is closed. My goal is to configure this within the Zigbee network itself to minimize latency and avoid dependency on external systems like Home Assistant.
I understand this can be achieved using direct binding. However, I'm unsure of the following:
What is the correct cluster to use for binding a door contact sensor to a smart lock?
Are there additional steps required to configure and test this setup?
Is there a way to verify that the binding is functioning correctly without relying on external automation platforms?
If anyone has experience with similar setups or can provide guidance, I’d greatly appreciate your help!
Thanks in advance! 😊
