OTA firmware upgrade of Aqara plug SP-EUC01 fails

Hi,

Running Z2M 2.0.0 (commit #060ae99), zigbee-herdsman (3.2.1), Sonoff USB Dongle Type E - Ember firmware 7.4.5. I have three Aqara plugs, all type SP-EUC01. Two are older and have older firmware, one I just bought.

I can't upgrade the firmware, it immediately fails. For example:

Jan 14 12:01:03 rasp pnpm[592855]: [2025-01-14 12:01:03] info: z2m: Update of 'Hypex Sub' at 0.00%
Jan 14 12:01:04 rasp pnpm[592855]: [2025-01-14 12:01:04] error: z2m: Update of 'Hypex Sub' failed (Update failed with reason: ABORT)

Does anybody else have a similar set-up? Can you try to upgrade your firmware? Can't promise anything, but my plugs don't break when the upgrade fails. Should be pretty safe.

Note: I had other problems upgrading a Sonoff ZBMINIR2 with this set-up. I fixed that by setting the ona parameters to

ota:
image_block_response_delay: 200
default_maximum_data_size: 15

But this didn't do anything for the OTA firmware upgrade of my plugs.

I've got more info about this. What I found out is this: you need to update the firmware twice if coming from firmware 22. This is an old firmware, 2019-ish.

What worked for me is upgrading to firmware 32 first, then to 45. That worked two times without issues.

And now the bad news. Upgrading the old plugs won't give them the same detailed info as the new plugs I bought. It's probably different/older hardware, that doesn't support those features.
