Releases: Kira-NT/cubes-without-borders
[1.19] Cubes Without Borders - 2.0.1
Fixes
- Fixed an issue where Minecraft would mess up the display resolution on startup (#17)
- Temporarily disabled fullscreen startup to prevent users from losing control over their mouse while Minecraft is starting in the background (#17)
Full Changelog: 2.0.0+1.19...2.0.1+1.19
[1.21] Cubes Without Borders - 2.0.0
Features
- Improved startup sequence (the game now starts in fullscreen mode immediately, instead of appearing as a small window and then resizing to full size)
- Improved Linux and macOS support
- Improved Windows support (again)
- The Minecraft window no longer flickers when it loses focus (#4, #12)
- Ensured Xbox Game Bar support (#6)
- Always-on-top windows (e.g., a PiP window from your browser) are rendered on top of the game window when it's in borderless fullscreen mode (#10)
- Switching to borderless fullscreen mode no longer breaks Distant Horizons with shaders (#14)
- Improved multi-monitor setup support
- When switching to borderless fullscreen mode, the game window will correctly choose the current monitor, instead of always jumping to the main one (#5)
- The game now remembers the last used monitor, so if you always play on your second monitor, you won't need to manually move the Minecraft window at the beginning of every gaming session (#5)

[1.20] Cubes Without Borders - 1.1.0
Warning
Please do NOT use this version!
Consider upgrading to v2.0.0
, or, at the very least, downgrading to v1.0.0
.
I was misled by an anecdotal report of performance degradation from a Windows user. It turned out to be just Windows doing regular Windows stuff - telemetry, updates, you know the drill - while my friend was testing the mod on their machine.
And this wouldn't be that bad, except that the "fix" in question turned out to be far more important than I initially thought, so its removal caused a bunch of previously unforeseen issues. Thus, the "fix" is reintroduced in v2.0.0
and is here to stay.
Fixes
- Removed the "fix" for window flickering on Windows, as it turned out to be too costly to justify.
