Really bad performance #13

Hello,

Just got it running and I noticed extreme amount of lag when the screen needs updating, eg hovering over items or showing menus. Is there anything I can do to improve this.

Host OS is Win 10 21H1 and using VMware WS 16.
Specs:
AMD 5800x
NVIDIA 3080
64GB RAM
VM Specs:
CPU: 2/4 or 1/8
Mem: 16GB
Graphics: tried a lot of different settings.

VM is running on a separate Samsung 980 NVME. Also noticing usb/input and sound stuttering on the host machine when doing anything. Created a quick win11 VM and didnt notice this issue.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I'm having this exact issue on a ryzen 2600
the machine used to work flawlessly before, bad performance started happening after a specific windows update on the host machine
when I rolled back the update the machine started working smoothly again, but obviously I wouldn't want to stop windows update for this
also when I updated to windows 11 it initially started working smoothly on one of the early windows 11 builds, but then another update broke it again
I have two other vms one is linux and the other is windows 10, they do not have any performance issues

edit: I found out that running the VM in windowed mode and reducing the window size to approximately 1000 pixels in width solves the issue
