Unable to add labels or link issues and pull requests in repository #9
Comments
I think it working perfectly |
I understand the issue you're facing. Although granting collaborator access to every contributor would solve the problem, it could create security risks for repository. Instead, I found a solution by adding an Issue Label Bot to the repository. This tool will automatically add labels to issues based on specific keywords or phrases in the issue title or body, without requiring write access for contributors. In the future, I may consider adding milestones to provide collaborator access for trusted contributors. Thank you for bringing this issue to my attention and allowing me to find a secure and efficient solution. |
Wow, I didn't know that collaborator access was necessary to do so. Thank you for enlightening me as well. |
If this repository gains popularity, I will consider transferring it to an organization account. This would provide additional features and capabilities, such as team management and access control, which would allow contributors to add labels without requiring collaborator access. |
Experiencing issues with adding labels to issues and pull requests (PRs) in this Git repository. I have also been unable to link issues to PRs or vice versa. I have tried following the standard process for adding labels and linking issues and PRs, but the expected options and functionalities are not working.
